STRATEGY • CAMPAIGN • MESSAGING • CREATIVE
When a democracy is in crisis, how do you shift the narrative from existential doom to authorship and give people the language and imagery to see themselves writing the next chapter?
Most organizations know what they believe. The harder problem is getting the people they serve to feel it as their own. A powerful thesis, stated clearly, is not the same thing as a thesis that lands. The gap between those two things is where most campaigns quietly lose people.
PolicyLink built We Are The Founders on a thesis that was true and urgent: that the people history left out have always been the ones making democracy real. The founders were everyone who organized, marched, advocated, and refused to stop showing up. The campaign had a name, a visual identity, and real conviction behind it. What it needed was range. Enough messaging directions and creative language that someone exhausted by the current political moment could still find a way in and feel the campaign speaking directly to them.
We partnered with PolicyLink to build that range. We developed a central messaging concept and expanded it into multiple directions, each a different door into the same truth. The visual system followed the same logic, extending PolicyLink's existing identity into a framework where every asset felt like it belonged to the same world. For Summit 2026, we connected that work directly to the gathering itself, so that showing up in Washington felt like an act of founding.
